Lindy Hop

We are proud to present a a series of afternoon Lindy Hop Workshops in Farnham for both complete beginners and more experienced dancers, with Champion Andy Fleming, followed by a fabulous evening freestyle dance with Jon Brett playing your favourite tracks.

The Venue is the wonderful Farnham Memorial Hall which has a sprung dance floor.

The Format will be as follows:
All workshops are on Saturdays and are followed by an Evening Freestyle dance .

Registration 1.15pm

grab yourself a tea or coffee to begin with

1.30-2.30pm

Lindy Hop Fundamentals - Learn the basics, no experience required

2.45-3.45pm, 4.00-5.00pm

fun charleston and lindy moves for beginners, and progressing to intermediate level when you should be comfortable with the turn, circle and swingout.

£10 each class, or 3 for £25

all 3 + evening Dance an amazing value at £28!

The Teachers:

Andy Fleming

Andy is one of the most experienced 'hoppers in the UK. He has won many competitions with his creative dance choreography. His teaching style will have you laughing all the way through the classes.

Heather

Heather - or 'Hev-Mate' is an accomplished dancer and the resident Mistress of Ceremonies at the Rock-Bottoms dance holidays. She is renowned for her fun-loving nature, though beware of her practical jokes!

Tor

Tor is the mastermind behind the rockBottoms Weekends, and she is no mean dancer to boot. Her attention to detail is legendary, and she has the enviable task of keeping her husband Andy on the move..

Andy, Hev and Tor are very serious about having fun whilst imparting their extensive dance knowledge - come along and find out for yourselves!
